Concert Details
We're getting an early start on Pride celebrations for 2006, holding our annual Pride concert in May rather than June, but the "Madness" just couldn't wait any longer! Appearing once again at the Jane Mallett Theatre on Front Street in Toronto, Singing OUT! paints the colours of the rainbow in song at 8pm on May 13th.
Join us for some delightfully gay twists to music from South Pacific, a fun blast from our "disco" past with our rendition of Boney M's Rasputin, some stirring melodies and moving lyrics to show you our more serious side, and a swingin' little song called Secretly that has a "Remember when..." reminder for some while others still ask the burning question and look for safety to love as they choose.
Rainbow Madness is the title and the colours of the rainbow that signify the diversity in the LGBTQ community tell the story with pride. Sure, it's easy to see the mad, mad, mad, mad (over)use of the rainbow icon in our world, so come with us as we weave our tale and connect it to this icon with both sincerity and irreverence.
You'll laugh, you'll share in the beauty of the sound, you'll have a fantastic evening out with family and friends! Please come lend your support to Singing OUT! as we bring you the fruits of our labour... (ahem... not to mention our mothers') with PRIDE!

We promote pride, both in who we are and in musical excellence to the communities where we live, perform, and find mutual support.
Within the choir, we shall foster a positive image of our common goals of belonging, unity, and empowerment: a reflection of our lives.
