Concert Details
On December 11th, Singing OUT! presents its annual holiday concert, The Gift is the Music, at the Jane Mallett Theatre on Front Street in Toronto.
Our 14th annual seasonal celebration is bound to get you in the holiday spirit with old favourites like the "Hallelujah Chorus" and "It Came upon the Midnight Clear". Reminisce in the old French rhythms of "Noël Nouvelet" and the stirring 14th century macaronic "In Dulci Jubilo". Swing into the season with "Baby, It's Cold Outside" and "Santa Baby". Travel to warmer climates with "Christmas on the Beach in Malibu", while "Are you Burning Little Candle" reminds us how different holiday traditions all speak to a common peace, love, and spirituality. And just for fun, in true Singing OUT! style, "I Saw Daddy Kissing Santa Claus" is sure to be a crowd-pleaser.
The Gift is the Music is the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit; familiar carols and seasonal favourites, entertaining anecdotes and great raffle prizes for that truant shopper. As always, there will be a few marvelous dance moves! See those sopranos and tenors soar on the high notes, and feel the richness of the altos and basses in those lower registers. You will be entertained, overcome with laughter, and maybe even moved a little.
The music is our gift to you. Share it with us. Share it with your friends and family.
The Gift is the Music.

We promote pride, both in who we are and in musical excellence to the communities where we live, perform, and find mutual support.
Within the choir, we shall foster a positive image of our common goals of belonging, unity, and empowerment: a reflection of our lives.
